How to Write a Business Plan (that gets you financing)
Cheree Warrick began writing business plans in 2009. Her mother ran a bookkeeping company and wanted a business loan to expand her company. She was tasked with writing the business plan.
The problem? While she had written a business plan in school, she had no experience writing one in the “real world.” She couldn’t let her family down by not creating something exceptional.
She used resources from the SBA, Google, and Amazon to put together a first draft. She showed it to a mentor of hers who had 40 years’ experience running companies and raising capital. He said, “Make these changes and give it to the bank.” She did what he said and the bank said it was one of the best business plans they’d ever read.
After that experience, she became fascinated with why certain entrepreneurs can raise millions of dollars over and over again while most cannot raise any money. She learned the formula for creating investable business plans and wrote a book called, “Creating Business Plans that Actually Get Financed.”
In this episode, we talk about all that and more. You will have a newfound understanding and interest in creating business plans that get the deal!
Since 2012, Cheree has been blessed. She has spoken around the country, has been published in numerous online publications and magazines, and has been featured on multiple radio interviews.
Her personal mission is to help 1,000 entrepreneurs raise $1 billion in capital.
